The warmer weather brings an influx of midges and other insects that end up on the front end and windscreen of your car. In addition to problems of visibility, particularly when facing into the sun and at night, the remains of flies, midges and various other insects release enzymes that are highly corrosive for paintwork due to their acidity.If not promptly removed within 48 hours, these residues can damage the transparent surface of the paintwork, leaving undesirable marks and stains, which are sometimes challenging, if not impossible, to remove with detergent alone. In order to prevent possible damage to the paintwork, midges, other insects and bird droppings need to be removed within a couple of days.
